Si TV is seeking a motivated college intern with an obsessive love of everything web, especially social networking and the latest entertainment websites.  This intern will assist the digital team with online presence by generating viral marketing ideas and supporting existing campaigns around our Model Latina, Adrenalina and Fandemonium shows.  General support of the digital team may also include use of basic html for newsletters and social network pages.   This is an excellent opportunity to get hands-on experience in the rapidly converging space between cable television and the web.  

Responsibilities include, but not limited to: 

• Managing our Network’s viral marketing campaigns on Facebook, MySpace and Twitter with respect to the Si TV brand, voice and tone.
• Creating link-exchanges with other blog and video sites.
• Generating ideas to create maximum interest in our shows.
• Increasing sweepstakes page traffic and submissions.

Internships Qualifications:

This is a non-paid program.  To be eligible students must be enrolled in a credited internship course, and must be able present proof of course credit.  Students must be in college (freshman or above), and be available to intern 16-30 hours per week.  Interns should be creative, able to multi task, be detail oriented, able to work quickly and work well with others.  Interns should also be able to prioritize and enjoy working in a fast paced environment, should be self-starters and have a passion for entertainment and pop culture.   Good writing/communication skills and knowledge of Word, Excel and Power Point are required.
